Hello everyone. I am trying to get a better connection to my ps3 using wireless. Right now i have about 45-55% signal that i am able to see in the ps3 menu.
I just bought a new trendnet wireless router N. I used to have a netgear wireless g router that the antenna broke off of. I know i need new cards and what not to get the full benefit of the N. Except my ps3 has wireless G not N.
So i search google a bit on if anyone has a way to connect ps3 to N instead of G. What i found was a guy saying he has a wireless N router already hooked up to his main pc and he bought a second wireless N router and conneted that router to the back of the ps3 via rj45 cable. He then claims to be able to use the ps3 with wireless N with both wireless routers hooked up. Would this work or be possible???????
I know it would be best to get a direct connection instead of wireless. I may just do this if the above idea does not work. I was going to move my cable modem and router to the same floor my ps3 is on due to my first floor having plaster walls and is going the distance of more then 75 feet for signal strength.
I was going to move the cable modem upstairs and then connect hardwire instead of wireless. But then heard about changing my wireless router i was going to use for the ps3 into a access point how would that work?
Then last option is to just run some rj45 in the atic and then drop the wire in the wall and then to ps3. maybe this is best...... any help>
