Default Router connected through ethernet output port?

I have a router with a DSL input a 4 ethernet output ports. my internet connection is through a ethernet cable, i am putting my internet connection cable into the ethernet port and if i connect my laptop to the other ports i have internet, my question is: am i supposed to have internet if i am connected through wifi? thnx in advance!
