Default Small PC motherboard

http://store.mini-box.com/ituner/wrapboard1c.html

Looks like a good little board to me, assuming that software to run on it was easily obtainable.

This and a couple of 802.11a/g minipcis would make a nice pole top accesspoint and only $140 US, Looks like it has everything the sokris board has but the price

You can use the cardbus slots, and mini-pci to hold wireless cards, and then run linux on it, acting as an accesspoint. This gives you all sorts of nice things you can do like ratelimiting etc on the AP.

They have onboard DC converters, so you just have to power them with a single power source, rather then needing an ATX type power supply needing multiple voltages etc.

If you go to the manufacturer - which is somewhere in Sweden from memory (just hunt around the net) you can get them cheaper in bulk. They have just put their prices up (they were $US120). http://www.pcengines.ch/order1.php?c=6

Default PC Engines motherboards

Well, I have just ordered a single one so far, with two CM-9 Atheros mini-PCI cards in it (it has just arrived, got rung by FexEd this morning). I'd like to experiment with it a bit first.
