Default Socket 478 Heatsinks

hi i have socket478 p4 2.2ghz Northwood gonna upgrade to 3.0ghz prescott HT (heard that this cpu runs hot) i wanna know if i can keep the same old heatsink and fan i had on my old cpu ? (cuz i'm just getting the new cpu from ebay) will it b able to keep my cpu running stable?
please if anyone has some info right back.
