A software diagram of 802.11 driver available?

Hi all,

I hope Im posting this doubt in the right place, as it is about drivers I was not completely sure if it should be here or not.

I'm starting to work with an almost from scratch driver for 802.11 card and I wonder if there is any software documentation of the implementations around. By documentation I mean UML diagrams, state machine diagrams or such . The goal is also to understand better what is managed on sofware and what is managed on hardware on the 802.11 drivers, thats why Id prefer to see some 802.11 drivers diagrams then the 802.11 protocol diagrams.
