Hi i was just wondering if anyone could suggest a solution to me. I have a client that is currently using a trendnet AP with a directional antenna to reach a reasonably far off pc. this works ok but the signal is a bit weak, however the AP seems to be faulty causing the wireless to randomly die requiring an AP power reset. He has a linksys to replace it but the connection for the trendnet directional antenna uses SMA and the linksys AP is TNC. We could replace the antenna but it is positioned inside the roof so is a hassle to get to. We are using the linksys AP so we can use SVEASOFT firmware to boost the signal strength at the same time. So does anyone know where i can find an adapter for this or another solution?

all have connectors for sale. Ill think youll find that the Linksys is RPTNC and the Sma is actually RPSMA.

Cheers.
