Hello! This is my first time on these forums which I stumbled upon while I was attempting to answer my question on Google. I hope somebody can help me here
Let me explain a bit about my setup. My internet is DSL, the phone line comes in on one side of the room where I have the company modem/router (Siemens Gigaset SE567) which I have disabled the wireless on and ran a cable from port 1 to the WAN port on my other router (D-Link DIR-655). From here I have wireless connections to an Xbox360, PS3, three PCs and my iPhone. And one wired connection to my NAS. I also have a dormant router (D-Link DI-524).
Wireless streaming is painfully slow with HD content on my Xbox or PS3 from my NAS. So I came up with a complicated mess of a plan and cannot seem to figure it out. Perhaps it's not even possible.
I would like to take my DI-524 router and connect it to my PC with a wire to my ethernet port. Then connect with my PC wireless-ly to the DIR-655 and bridge the connection and share internet to the DI-524. Which in turn would also have my Xbox, Ps3 and NAS connected to it.
Or perhaps simply enable the wireless on my Siemens and connect my DIR-655 to my PC, bridge the connections and then have everything wired to that router.
If this is at all possible please let me know how I can accomplish it. Thanks in advance!
