Upgrade of Papatoetoe Ap

Hi all,

I now have the 900AP+ & Borg 8+8 slot @12m AGL.
Faces Nrth/Sth.
The DLink does not seem compatable with Linux so I don't know if I can see anyone.

what do you mean by linux compatable?

i have linux clients connecting to my almost identical setup.
I had to turn of 4x mode and lower encrptions to 64/128.

I meant from the snmp side.
Linux - AP_UTILS does not talk to the chipset that DLINK use.
AP_UTILS is an AP version of Netstumbler but extracts the data of APs.

The wireless side is fine.

Can't detect any activity Nth/Sth so have changed to East/West direction on the waveguide.
Seems to have a narrow beam pattern.

Has anybody got any figures on the beam pattern for the 8+8 slot Borg.
