Default waterproof box for wrt54gs

Just looked at Dickies and jaycar, and none of the boxes seem to be ble to fit the board from a wrt54gs into them.

What are other people doing to put them in that can attach to a pole?

what I would do is get a slightly oversize box.

on the inside are mounting holes - to this you can affix a mounting plate, and on that plate you can affix whatever it is you please. Breadboard would be good for this...

My current waterproof box has a cable gland for the POE cat5e and a sealed panel-mount N-Type, all from tricky dickies. Unfortunately as it is on my roof I cant get pics for you, maybe when Andrew gets in touch with me about a rootenna I can get some pics when I replace it with said rootenna...

Problem is the boxes from jaycar and dickies are too small, and a waterproof box from an electrical "wholesaler" is close to $100...

We do have some, one of them even has an integrated 19dBi Panel antenna. Depending on where you are puting the box we have solid aluminum boxes and smaller plastic ones that should fit a WRT without to many issues.

Regards
Andrew

Can you PM or email me a pic and a price?

I also need to get a 3 foot pigtail with RP-TNC to N male, with a cable gland on it, where the cable gland is big enough that the TNC will fit thru the mounting hole.

The Next Generation Borg Box.

Did someone say Weather Proof?

Here is a sneak peak at our new Borg Box. Its a solid cast aluminum casing that houses a 200mw radio. At this stage im not sure if we will release the box on its own as the cost of them are prety high.

The one in the picture is not compleated yet as there are 4 screws that are on the front to hold the lid down and compress the solid rubber seal between the back and the face plate.

The tags that are on the top and bottom can ge used for sanwitching between the hockey stick using a V bolt or screwing directly to the wall of a building.

Hi,

I have mounted my 4 WRT's in a water proof box avail from most trade electrical places. They are about 40-50 bucks each but fit a WRT perfectly inside. Ill add a pic and try and find a shop name.
