What do I need to purchase?

Hi, I have recently moved into my university accomdation. It doesn't contain wireless internet, but has an ethernet port on the wall in which you connect a cable too. What device could i use to set up an access point with this?

Just configure with your computer and plug into the ethernet jack.

I would change the SSID and put in WPA password so your roomates won't use your port and gettign you into trouble.
