I'm wondering what hardware will need to have my "dream" networking set up. Ideally, I would like to
- bridge two wimax networks (only 30GB up/download per month on each)
- allow my PC to access the bridged network
- allow an NAS to serve the PC, as well as allowing me to access data from outside
- allow me to use the bridged network from tablets, phones inside the house
Where I live, in Bangladesh, we get power outages and to protect against this I have a UPS for all devices (10 mins backup) and an IPS (two hours). I want to be able to switch the PC off and work on a tablet, while accessing my bridged network, and my NAS storage (for streaming movies/data).
At the moment I have an 8 port ethernet hub and a Lan-to-Wifi box. What else would I need? Ideally, I'd like this to work with the PC switched off, but that isn't essential. I can live with a single Wimax connection when the power is down.
