Are the laptops all in one direction or a central location?
You would want an AP with a high amount of mW, especially if its all going to stay inside (antenna and all). It would really depend on how much interference you have between the AP and the laptops (trees, other wireless devices, thick/metal walls, etc). Those factors alone will determine wither you need to go with something like I listed below, or a simple, everyday router.
A high powered AP for larger coverage and for wireless dense areas:

An every day, basic, consumer based router:

The Linksys would work well, again, depending on your environmental factors. There are also 3rd party firmware which you can update this router with, which will unlock other features. One of which could be range extending (higher mW) controls, depending on the firmware.
