I now have a Linksys B router with a range booster on top of it that has given me great service up to my third floor. I am getting a new computer with a G card in it and want to upgrade my router. I prefer Linksys, as have no problems with it for the last 5 years. Which one should I get, and do I need a range extender for it? I need to get to the third floor with this, as my internet cable is on the first. Thank you for any suggestions!
Could try the D-link DGL-4300 Gaming router. Even if your not a gamer, its pretty flexible and has really good range. Also has gigabyte LAN ports It is a little on the pricey side, but its worth it
