Default What router should I use to connect to a directional wifi antenna?

I bought this outdoor Yagi cantenna: Directional Yagi Outdoor Cantenna WiFi Signal Booster - 14dBi 2.4GHz and I'm trying to create a wireless hotspot in my metal workshop, getting the signal from my home router 100 ft away. Would this router work: TP-Link TL-WR841ND 300Mbps Wireless N Router? If it wouldn't why not, and is there a router out there that would work?
