Default WiFi connecting router

Are there any routers out there that can connect to a wireless network and then create their own wireless network off of that connection? I am going to be traveling and it would be nice if I had a router that would connect to the hotel WiFi but then create its own WiFi network that I could connect multiple devices to. Does this exist?

yes it exist, you need 2 things : a wireless usb adapter (i use alfa awus036h ) and a portable wireless router (i use ALFA R36) so you can create my own network within that network and connect your devices.

How about a greater range device?
Like directional antenna of about 15km away & wireles bridge/router?

Grab wireless signal from far away and turn it into local wireless....

what would you suggest? How about with AirGrid HP with ?

thanks.
