Hi all
I am thinking about setting a privet wireless network between me and friend it is about 2km from my house 2 his. Do you think I can make it???
I have just order 2 Vagi Series Antenna 16 DBi
I have got one cameo WLB-/1201 Wireless LAN PCI Adapter
And I am looking @ getting an Access Point some time this week or next

Is there any one here using the Vagi Series Antenna 16 DBi how good are the and what range can you get out off them

I have one pointed at wookies place about a k away, he has a 19dBi grid antenna. it works sweet. Its going to be swapped to a omni soon.

Also, from near wookies place it was getting signal back to seetons place, thats about 6 k's away, and he has a 9dBi omni.

You will be sweet unless you are using really shit cable.
