Default Which wireless card to use?

I am moving into a new house and in the process of setting up my computer. I have a Linksys BEFW11S4 ver4 router, and I wanted to know what Linksys wireless cards are compatible with this router, so I am able to set up my router on one end of the house and my computer in my office?

Basically any card will work with it. But since your using Linksys, you should focus on getting a Linksys card.

You should try and get a G card, not a B. G tends to have better power and signal strength than B. So the G card will compensate for the wireless B's lack of coverage. Plus...the G card will auto fall back to 11 mbps.

I guess any Linksys card can be ok with you.

The whole point of "WiFi" is that WiFi certified stuff is certified to work with other WiFi certified stuff, of any brand. Any given manufacturer might have extra features that work only between products of that manufacturer, but basic connectivity will be there with any combination of brands.

I prefer Linksys because they use robust RP-TNC antenna connectors. RP-SMA is too fragile for any application but a Girl Scout camp.

I have not been impressed with any 802.11N gear. Bad reviews all around, and the standard has not ben finalized and published. Let some sucker be the beta tester for 802.11N. Do not be that sucker.
