Default Wireless CPE/Bridge with WPA(2)/802.1x support

Hello,
I am starting to put up some APs that will use my RADIUS server to provide wireles authentication with WPA.

I am looking for an Ethernet-based CPE that is < $125 and supports RADIUS/802.1x authentication... I would love it to have WPA2 support, but WPA is find :-(

I currently have some Edimax NG-7206APg, great little radios, good clients, but no 802.1x on the client side...

I was looking at the Senaos, a bit more $, and I still can't confirm if it supports what I want.

Someone else must have dealt with this problem before...

Thanks,
Scott

You might be searching for a while; WPA-PSK is very popular now but most manufacturers consider 802.1x as enterprise-level security and charge enterprise-level prices to match.

WPA2 PSK using the AES cypher and a really nice long random passkey is considered extremely high security nowdays, would that do the trick?

As a follow up I have seen that it is possible to get a 802.1x client to work on a Linksys WRT54G. This requires installing the OpenWRT firmware and Xsupplicant. I haven't tried it, and it will require some Linux knowledge, but it's the best solution for that price I can find.

Default Linksys

Hi there

Just got a Linksys WAP54G and a WRT54G in my hands today and thier new firmware has WPA2 support as well as 802.1x etc. You can get these AP's for as cheap as $140.00 in New Zealand if you look around.
