Default wireless interference

i think i am getting interference from
my cordless phone and wireless mouse
i have a belkin n1 router F5D8231-4
and a belkin n1 card F5D8001

can anyone help me
sometimes the connection is lost
and im only at -59dbm

i would like to get higher
im in channel 1
i was wondering also if anyone could make any suggestions to help me stop getting these interferences
i was wondering if i can change the frequency of my router?
or is that not possible

Hi,

Firstly check your phones to see if they operate in the 2.4GHz frequency band, if they do this may well be the cause of your interference, if not they wont.

You should be able to change the frequency on your router, log into the configuration pages and change from channel one to either 6 or 11 then try others if you dont seem to be getting away from the interference.
