For starters..... no subnetting is needed because the amount of addressing table you create with IPv6 in nearly infinite or more that enough for use. With IPv6 you can create:

340,283,366,920,938,463,374,607,431,768,211,456 addresses ^*^

that is because an IPv6 address is 128 bits long compared to the current 32 bit long IPv4. by (Odinn)

The advantages of the Internet directly from the stage was created using the interoperability of Internet Protocol, which leads to a large network effect. This is useful for an Internet company created solely on the extent to which the company using the Internet, suppliers. Since IPv6 will significantly increase the size and range of access devices to the Internet, the commercial effect of the network increase.

IPv6 offers the possibility of building a more powerful Internet, with a much larger scale compared to the current situation. Only IPv4 addresses are 32 bits, allowing only about 4 billion addresses, IPv6 compared to 128 bits, with about 340 trillion trillion trillion addresses. The IPv6 header is designed to accelerate the routing process. Main options separate IPv6 base header. The options are inserted into the database header when required by the data layer.

IPv6 is four times larger than the IPv4 header size is double the old version. IPv6 to create an efficient hierarchical, and summarized routing infrastructure in a position that is based on the frequent presence of multiple levels of Internet service providers. There are so many extra additional features in IPv6, in-stand of IPv4.

The advantages of the Internet is taken directly from the platform interoperability created using the Internet Protocol, leading to an extended network effect. In other words, the benefits of the Internet company that does not happen only by the extent to which the company itself using the Internet, but much of the extent to which others - suppliers, customers and individuals - also using the Internet. Because IPv6 will significantly increase the size and scope of devices connected to the Internet, the benefits of network effects increases accordingly.

hello

the advantage of IPv6 over IPv4;
1. Larger Address Space: address filed in IPv6 is 128 bits long while the address filed of IPv4 is only 32 bits in length. IPv6 offers very large, i.e.296 address space as compared to IPv4.
2. Better header format: the header of IPv6 has been designed in a way to speed-up the routing process. In header of IPv6 options are separated from the base header. Options are inserted into base header only when required by the upper-layer data.

3. Provision for extension: IPv6 has been designed in a way that a protocol can be extended easily to meet the requirements of emerging technologies or new applications.
4. Resource Allocation support in IPv6: IPv6 provides a mechanism called Flow Label for resource allocation. Flow label enables source to send request for the special handling of a packet. This mechanism is really helpful in real-time audio and video transmission.
5. Security Features: to ensure confidentiality and packet's integrity encryption and authentication options are included in IPv6.

Thanks

Hello,

The current version of the IP protocol that features a 128-bit addressing scheme, as opposed to the 32-bit addressing scheme of IPv4, supporting a much higher number of addresses.

Thanks,

IPv6 is provide more security than IPv4 and number of IP addresses is more than IPv4.
