Default Webcam

What are you using for a webcam?
wireless like D-Link DWL-1000
or a simple web cam attached to a computer.
Do you have a static IP and an internet connect.
Will you be running a live server?
Do we have access if we connect to your node.
Are you running any streaming media server?

Just a passing curiosity.

Got a DWL 1000AP (not mine, as can't afford such luxuries) running through a node, but it is only doing up to 3fps 320x240 and not good in dim light. I will have to get more signal to it. It has it's own server software built in. Uses Java mode to view and I haven't figured out if I can store avi files. It will up load static pics to a FTP server. It has output connections so you can control external devices through the web. (could control relays that control pan and tilt but I'm not good with the mechanicals) Sorry no Realworld static ip. let me know how you get on. We could put our heads together.

You should be able to get some good deals from Home - GVCARDS.COM

I put together an entire 8 camera system with surveillance equipment I bought from that site at cheap prices too. Their cameras are pretty cheap also for the amount of lines and picture quality you get.
