Several ISP's offer wireless plans using the Wired Country network / service (ihug, iconz etc).
Looks like a very good option is you have a good line of sight to an access point. You can read about some first hand experiences with the Wired country service in this thread:

The verdict appears to be lower pings than dsl, which is all good. It appears they use a 3.8ghz band for transmission so bad weather and general interference are not likely to be an issue or cause any noteworthy latancy..
However couple of things to note, the ISP/Wired Country retains ownership of the equipment they install at your place and there is a minimum lock-in period ie: you have to signup for x months. So read the fine print.
