General questions on the state of wireless in NZ.

As you will be able to see from my profile, I am new to this forum.

Right now I am in the early stages of deciding if I should set up a node. What I'd like to know is the current state of wireless networks are in the Auckland area.

In particular, is anyone supplying Internet services that aren't limited to accessing the 'Net via NAT through the node you are connected to?

Is anyone at the stage of purchasing bulk bandwidth and IP ranges for distribution across a network of nodes?

I have a 3Com AP (3CRWE454G72)... does anyone know if the antennae at the back are removable?

I can't answer most of your questions as I'm a wellingtonian, however your question about the 3com router - no. However I don't imagine it would be hard to modify the router to have any connector you please...
