they generally test with a 200mW Senao card (because it's close to the 200mW Senao bridges they provide, amongst other things) and a 19dBi parabolic. So if that couldnt see their AP at a distance of a couple of km, I'd say your brute force approach is going to be an illegal waste of time and money.
Look for a different approach - find someone in view of you who can see their AP and put a point to multipoint bridging repeater on their roof. It wont be supported by nzwireless.co.nz but if you're that dead keen... |
