receiving wireless cctv on a laptop

hello all looks like i finally found the right place! looking for some help...i have a wireless cctv system 2.4ghz which comprises of a camera and monitor, what i want to do is receive the images on my wireless laptop, is there a software out there to do this or do i need additional hardware? any help appreciated as i've been trying to do this for months. i would have thought with my wireless card in the laptop i would be able to use media player or am i flogging a dead horse??

HI There, What sort if Wireless CCTV system is it and does the reciever plug in to a TV of VCR??. quicker solution is to purchase a 2.4Ghz Wireless IP basesd camera

its just a camera and monitor , just thought as i had a wireless card in my laptop there must be a way of receiving the signal from the camera? by software tuner or something?

I'm also interested with it so if anyone can answer the question then it will be much appreciated.
