Nope reckon you go with the WRTG54, im using one and ive never had any problems.

Sure its not the GS, but why take the chance of waiting till July (or longer as it frequently happens with Ascent)

Anyone got access to the 'pay to download fimware' section of the Sveasoft site? I'd like to grab that Satori 3.11 latest firmware somehow and try it out on my WRT54GS.

Bigted gave me the Satori 3.8 firmware but when I tried updating it, it said the update was successful, but no change in the router whatsoever. Still at official v2.07.1.

I'd like to test this Sveasoft firmware before I go into buying anything, but I'd actually prefer a collective sharing of resources for Student's without a job (like me) 8)

The Alchemy Pre5_1 stuff is pretty buggy at the moment. I would go with the Satori Pre_11GS (which is actually the same as the public Satori 4.0 release, just with a namechange).

You should get faster internet than the stock linksys firmware is giving you and some more stuff to play with.
