Why do people use Twitter?

Why people use Twitter? What motivates people to use Twitter? Any ideas? It’s about news or comments?

I see no one has answered your question about twitter.
Well people mainly use it to promoe their website or business.
Some people use it to send updates to family and friends but mostly marketers use it to promote something. Usually a sales page for something.

According to me people like use Twitter because they like its features very much. Sometimes people use Twitter because they want to promote their web sites and business. People like Twitter because they find their new friends and activities. My friends are using Twitter so much and they always tell about this web site. Now I am also thinking about to register on Twitter.

Twitter has been used for many reasons. Some use for marketing, some use for social networking to keep up with friends and relatives.
As you know in twitter you can update your status. If you have some follows they will notice it in their home page. If it interests them they will either respond to that using the features or if there was a link they might click it and read what it is about.
This is just the brief about twitter. You need to learn the rest by your self. Practice makes perfect

I use Twitter as a means to find great web and graphic design articles. It's also interesting to see the obstacles that other designers run into and conquer. Sometimes Twitter makes me like I'm talking to my dog (when I ask a question and I get no response) but for the most part it's pretty helpful.
