Wireless in Clevedon? I have line of site to Manakau

Hi,

I'm looking for a solution to get broadband to my home/office in the hills above Clevedon, Manakau. We have line of site to Ardmore & also Redoubt Road - inc the TV/comms mast up there.

Wired Country say they dont cover us yet. Too far from the exchange for ADSL & we don't have line of site for ICONZ on Waiheke & I don't want to go to Satellite unless there is no other way.

Any help or advice appreciated. Thanks.

BorgWiFi are about a week out from installing an antenna or two up on Redoubt rd, this will be on the manukau side however there is also another antenna that will be mounted close to where the telco mast is.

Does BorgWiFi have any antenna's in Whangaparaoa/Silverdale or Arewa?

Im working on it. I have been trying to sort outn the backhaul forst off so as to ensure we have pleanty of bandwith. this is almost done. next will be to get the POP up in manukau and hopefully creep over the hill from there.

Dont have anything up silverdale yet, But have scopes out a couple of sites that lool like they should work.

Ok cool Andrew...look forward to hearing that you have some wifi's in the Whangaparaoa area as from what I have seen or hear don't think there are any!
