Default Woosh with ethernet connection through Netgear router

is the woosh modem compatible using router to share the connection??? I tried two different router but sometimes, I can't surf some of the web sites.. but if i switch it back to using USB cable.. no problem at all.. what will be the correct setting in the router.. or that modem is a faulty one and not compatible with router.?? I tried a few different MTU too.. but still not success.. like 1400, 1450, 1441, 1493 or 1500... (woosh customer support told me MTU on woosh is 1458) one of the router from Netgear and one from dicksmith.. both got the same problem.. so, I think that may be the modem problem... anyone can help me on this... woosh support can't help me... they just say it's may be the router setting problem

Yes woosh can work fine through a router. You just need a good one which will come at a price. Try the WRT54G or GS. Basically you need a WAN port on the back and the router being capable of making a PPPoE connection to the ISP. I've used the DSE router that was supposed to be for woosh and that was junk. Also this D-Link 704P that I'm currently using is junk as well, drops connections, runs internet at half speed, and unintuitive user interface which makes you restart the router every single setting change.

Yes it sure can and it will most probably be your current router. I have set several of these up, and we mainly use LevelOne equipment which is very cost efective and seems to be very reliable also. One of the units we use also has a built in 54mbps (B/G) Wireless Access point, SPI firewall and a 4 port switch which we supply at a cost of $199+gst. It is also very simple to setup - usually about 5mins at the most for the Woosh side of things.

As for D-Link.... we have had a few issues with their products.....
