Exclamation Acer Aspire 5720z wireless not working

Not recently i downgraded my Acer aspire 5720z to Windows XP home edition because vista was slow as hell.
Now I can't seem to find a working WLAN driver for my Atheros AR5007EG Wireless Network Adapter. When i install the driver on the acer site my device manager gives me either a code 10 or code 39. My laptop is 86x (32bit)

If anyone can tell me where i can find a set of drivers, please tell me.

Which version of XP did you downgrade to SP1,SP2 orSP3?
Did you then install all the updates?
Did you look at
Description of Code 10-related errors that Device Manager generates on Windows XP-based computers
Explanation of error codes generated by Device Manager in Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Did you uninstall the drivers from the Acer site before trying to install the ones from the other site?

Apart from saying you are running XP SP2 you didn't answer any of the other questions I asked.

Did you try completely uninstalling the drivers and then checking to see if XP recognised "New Hardware" and if it did did you then try installing the driver when asked?
