Hey, I have an acer aspire one netbook and It is having major wireless problems.
It is not dectecting networks. I will have the wireless switch on and then randomly a small ballet at the bottom-right corner of the screen will appear saying "one or more wireless networks are in range of this computer, click this ballet to see a list and connect". I click it and the wireless box comes up but says "no wireless networks are in range, make sure your wireless switch is on".
It is weird cause even when I was beside a wirless router it would not work. It would say I had full bars but limited or no connectivity and I had no internet access at all.
The one weird thing is that, at one time, it actually worked. It said no wirless networks in range, but i was still able to use the web for about 2 mins, then it disconnected until i went repair this connection. It stopped doing that now completly. I have no wirless at all.
I know some networks are password protected but it wont even give me a list so i can type the password if I know it (example: my own network).
I tried reinistalling the wireless drivers and that did not work.
