im using an ad hoc (peer-to-peer) wireless link with my laptop to share my main computers wired ethernet internet connection. im using internet connection sharing under xp professional on the host computer which is wired in my room.
the wireless speed when connected on my laptop seems to be limited 11Mbps which is cool, but randomly the speed drops sporadically from 11Mbps to 5.5Mbps to 2Mbps to 1Mbps and loses the net connection.
is this something to do with hardware or ics or is adhoc just rubbish?
is there any software that can help troubleshoot?
