Question AP Client Mode Problem (Pheenet WAP-554G)

Hello Guys.

I have wireless DSL at home and bought a pheenet WAP-554G to transmit the signal to a wired switch so that me and my friend can access the Internet from our desktop.

The WAP-554G has many modes, i think for this scenario it is either Ad-Hoc or Station-Infrastructure. I tried both and I can detect and connect to the wireless DSL Modem using "Site Survey" BUT there is no Internet on the client PC.

PLS advice on how to solve this problem....

Thanks & Regards

Erfan

What is your router make and model? Is the SSID on your router set to broadcast? Are you within range of the router, to check try connecting the WAP within a couple of feet and see if it finds it. Come back to us and let us know the outcome.
