Which AP is iPad connected to?

I have two APs with the same ssid and generally my iPad seems to properly switch b/w them as I move from one room to another. But sometimes I don't think it does. Is there some way to tell which AP the iPad is connected to at any given point in time? Preferably I'd like to be able to determine this via the iPad. If it matters, each ap is connected to each other via wired Ethernet.
