Default Belkin 802.11g v.2 wireless adapter to Netgear DG834G v.3 HELP NEEDED!!!

Hello everyone

This is my first post here and I know a little bit about wireless networking but not a great deal so any answers pls can I have them in layman's terms!

Right trying to sort out me mum's Vista 32-bit SP2 to be wireless using Netgear DG834G v.3 router to a Belkin F5D7050 (v.2 I believe) wireless adapter through AOL.

Now up until a couple of weeks ago it was working fine then it wasn't so been trying to fix it since being home for Christmas. I eventually uninstalled AOL and the Belkin drivers and moved the computer to the router to be wired in (this is where I've now been sat for the best part of 2 days!) and managed to get it all working so far.

Then I try and install the Belkin adapter and carry on with making a wireless network and I don't seem to be getting anywhere! It keeps saying that it cannot connect and the adapter cannot be found.

Any suggestions would be great! And quickly as I go back home on Tuesday!!!
