belkin G+ MIMO Desktop card (Model no:f5d9000)

hi,

I recently purchased the card in the title. Followed installation guides and got online fine.

It seems to be working except I've noticed a massive performance drop in download speeds and general browsing times since I installed the card.

I went to Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test & download was 2550 d/l & 359 u/l.

The router is netgear, not sure on model, but my housemates, who are also connecting wirelessly and are both getting much better performance.

Before i had a usb dongle, that wasn't particularly fast either, but was still much better than this... and i brought the new card expecting a performance increase

Does anybody have any idea what i could do/ test or configure to get things working better?

2550 d/l is pretty good to me

what speed is your BB and what speeds are you housemates getting ?
