Default Belkin - Problem with Network Key

I recently rebooted my PC (not this one). I'm trying to hook up to my network, but every time I put in the network key, it says something like it has to be a 13 digit or 23 digit key, I don't get it. Could anybody help me here? I'd be really grateful.
