Belkin Problems

I have a Belkin G+ MIMO modem router which my main pc connects to via cable/lan card OK. I am running a second PC upstairs with the corresponding G+ USB adapter.

The 2nd pc sees the G+ router fine and will connect to it, but as soon as I try to open IE the PC totally crashes, if not immediately then within a minute or two. This happens without fail.

However, if I connect to one of the other wireless networks that seem to be about in our road it works fine.

Router/USB adapter and 2nd PC are all new.

Main PC running XP pro, 2nd Pc running XP Home.

Any help gratefully received as this is driving me nuts!

Try a driver update for the USB card and firmware update for the router (do the latter via Ethernet, not wireless!).

It's also worth testing the USB adapter in the wired computer to see how it peforms.
