Best wifi antenna for range (you choose)

Hello to all of you here at wirelessforms.org ,i was wondering what is yor opinions on usb wifi adapters ,THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY...
also are thoes chinese wifi antennas fake ? 6000mw 3800mw etc
should i stay well away from them ? or are they ok

What would be a good antenna to get exellent range ?
should i use an alfa 500mw with a high gain antenna ?
should i use an alfa 1000mw with a high gain antenna ?
should i use an alfa 2000mw wih high gain antenna ?
or should i use a chinease 3800mw with high gain antenna ?

Please could someone point me in the right direction reguarding usb wifi antennas which one should i choose for the most range ?

also cold anyone please give me some rule of thumbs or (BALLPAARK ESTIMATES ON HOW FAR CERTAIN DBI ,MW WILL GO .
