Exclamation Bridging Public Wifi Into Home Network

Hello, I am REALLY hoping someone on this board can help me....
I live in a little town in Italy, and no in-home high speed is available. However, they just installed a high speed wifi network in the town that I can barely receive a decent signal from previously.
However, I purchased this device Pasadena Networks, LLC 15dbi Rootenna with 200mw NL-2611 CB3 Plus Deluxe 802.11b
and have mounted it on my roof pointing at the public wifi antenna.
Now, what I am trying to do is to take this wifi signal into my own home wired network so that I can access the internet from all my wired computers and use vonage, etc.
I am completely lost :-( as to how to configure the Seano device.
Could you please give me some guidance?
In case you are wondering, the public wifi is sort of like a T-Mobile login at Starbucks in the US. The network is open, and you connect. When you open your browser, the only page you can go to is their login page. You put in your name and password and then you get full access after it verifies you.
Thanks again so much.....

Default Senao

Hi there
The Senao 2611CB3+DLX are set to Point to Multi-Point Bridge mode by factory default. This is the mode you will need to be in to connect to the Hotspot. As the manual says you will need to set a static IP address on your PC to access it.
Under wireless if you leave the SSID field blank the Senao will connect to the AP with the strongest signal, or you can enter it in. Under ADMIN you could try DHCP and the hotspot may allocate it an IP address, or you may have to find out what Subnet it is in and Gateway address and manually enter them into the Senao. You also might need to tick the clone MAC address box. You may have problems running multiple PC's on the connection because the Hot Spot may only want to talk to one MAC address, and you would need a router to allow your setup to work.
The good thing about the Senao is that there is not too many setting to play with so if you keep trying you will get it working. Make sure you only have one PC on it for a start and you will need to use a crossover ethernet cable.
Good Luck
Dale

Ideally you should get an Ethernet router like a WRT54G and stick it in between the wireless and your network for security, efficiency and simplicity. That way you only need one IP address on the wireless network, your network stays private and all your computers can share the internet.
