bought recently a smartphone Samsung Galaxy GT-I5801 and configured my favourite wireless networks without a problem. They all worked.
2 days ago, i can still connect to every other network except at my home.
a) My wireless network has ssid hidden, mac filter and WEP key
b) my computers connect to that same network without a problem
c) my phone connects to others networks
When i try to connect and it's trying to get an ip address, it says it is "out of range" (i don't know if that's the translation, in Portuguese is "fora de intervalo")
apparently with smartphones the best thing is to put a WPA key protection. What the guys from my internet provider told me is that only the most advanced smartphones can handle a WEP 128 key.
