Default can't connect with USB Wifi antenna

Hey, I bought a Ralink USB Wifi antenna (RT2500) and can find all networks but seem to be unable to connect. I tried the Ralink software and the standard Windows. Is it possible that there's something blocking the signal on the USB-port? All drivers are installed...
