changing the bit rate on Alfa usb Wifi

Hi all,

I am having trouble connecting to a network using my built in ralink adaptor and also using my alfa awus036h usb wifi adaptor, but only when I use them in windows.

I also use them in Linux hardy.

IN wondows I can connect but not load any pages or download anything . I had this problem in HArdy until I manually set the bit rate to 1 or 2 M, or something low(I figured becasue of poor quality ocnnection) using the terminal.

When I use windows the config software doesnt allow me to change this, only fragmentation threshold, packet size. Not bit rate. I believe this is why I cant browse when using windows. It connects OK.Setting to auto doesnt work either.

Is there a way to manually config bit rate the windows command line or another way?
