Default Configuration

I live where (until recently) there was no wireless high speed. Now, Sprint has released EVDO REV a. I am wanting to buy the wireless card for my laptop and share the connection throughout the house via wired ethernet. Is this possible? I have a Dell Latitude D610. Is it possible for the laptop to receive the wireless signal then send it out via the LAN connection to my other computers?

Thanks,
Dan
