We have a small wireless network in the business center we are working in. (We do not own that network, we just use it to interconnect our 2 pc's and go onto the internet)
We have one printer (multifunctional) which we can connect using ethernet.
What I want to do is connect this printer to my pc using an ethernet cable (pc directly to my printer) and then share this using the wireless on the same pc.
As the 2 pc's in the network can see each other, i hope there is a way to share the printer this way.
Already 1 step further. Tried doing this and the other pc (pc2) can see the shared printer which I created on pc1. (through wireless)
I can even print from pc2 to pc1 and job arrives. But all jobs in the queue on the pc1 are always in pause ?????
wireless ip 192.168.1.x range, ethernet cable to my printer (printer ip 10.10.0.1 - pc ip 10.10.0.2)
If I print from pc1 directly, it works fine.
you did install a driver on PC2 for the ethernet printer connection as decribed above, separate and distinct from any other driver? if that is confusing, you understand completely.
