Connection Keeps Dropping

Hi everyone,
I know it's good etiquette to read through a lot of the threads before posting my issue, but I've been all over Google for two days now and my wife is starting to harass me, and I'm hoping someone has a magic bullet for me (I am clueless about networking so it may be an easy solution).

I've had a hard time finding SOLUTIONS to the problem I have, though I did find a lot of other people complaining about the issue in product REVIEWS.

Our connection keeps dropping. We have to unplug the wireless network adapter and plug it back in - it works for several minutes, and then the connection drops again.

Specs:
Vista 32-bit
Motorola modem
Linksys wireless router - WRT 160Nv2
D-Link DWA-130 Wireless N USB Adapter
