D-Link Problems...PLEASE HELP!

Hey guys, let me start by thanking you for taking the time out to read my thread...I have a huge problem. I have a D Link router upstairs hooked up to my Dell, and a D Link wireless card downstairs hooked up to my other computer. The wireless connection is fine for awhile, then it just goes stale. It looks to me as if once the lease expires, it tries to renew the IP and gets hung up, I try to manually release and renew it and it doesn't work. I'ts really getting annoying having to go upstairs and reset my router every 4 hours (the lease expires in 4 hours everytime). Any Suggestions?

Have you tried to update the firmware on your router with the latest one from the dlink site? Sometimes this fixes connection problems like this
