Engenius eoc-5610 issue
I purchased the engenius eoc-5610 due to reading a good review on the net and they said it was pretty easy to set up.
I guess it was easy for me to accidentally get it working, I was able to accept the WIFI signal using the 5610 and it gave me wired internet.
I was just guessing how to set it up and when I went back to test it going to 192.168.1.1 instead of logging into Engenius it was to the Netgear i was trying to get wifi access from. SO i coudlnt log back into engenius again.
I should of left everything alone , but instead i did a factory reset using a paperclip.
Now I cant repete what I did, I dont know if what I just described was this running in accesspoint mode, or client bridged?
As you might have guessed IM not a expert at networking when it comes to a device having multiple modes.
Ive already tried to search forums or on line help and everything seems to point to the PDF that just for me isnt helping.
Basically what Im asking is either a video or step-by-step instructions , for how to tell my engenius box to log onto the Open WIFI and share it with me on the lan?
I dont know how I did it the 1st time but if i knew it would be this complicated to get it back up I wouldn't of messed with it.
Just to be clear its a Netgear broadcasting it and its Open.
SO if anyone can give me a idea on what im asking my box to do , I dont know if that means it would be a accesspoint or a bridged mode or bridged router mode.
