i bought a used ibm thinkpad laptop. whenever i hook up an ethernet cable from the lynksys wireless g router to my laptop's port it automatically connects and says local area connection plugged. just a few weeks ago i bought another laptop for a family member and its a dell latitude. anyways i tried doin the same thing as i did with my thinkpad. i hooked up an ethernet cable from the lksys wireless g router to my latitude's ethernet port. but it doesnt connect... do i need to b more specific or can somone shed some light for me?
