HP HDX18T Wireless Button Turning Self Off

I was looking to see if anyone had a solution for the HDX18T wireless button issue where it turns itself off and on. I have upgraded the BIOS, upgraded all drivers, done a complete system recovery, and yet the issue still persists. Is there anyway of disabling the button itself because I have looked this up online and many people face the same issue but no one seems to have an answer. Even if I sent it in how would I have any guarantee the new one I got wouldn't have the same issue? My computer is a necessity for both my life as a student and my career. If anyone had any way of fixing this issue or at least bypassing it that'd be great.

I have the solution to the HDX18T media keys and wifi turning off and on constantly......The solution is Windows Vista.....you need to install Windows XP (Try a Google search for information on the XP installation for HDX18T) OR...The easiest Solution is to Install Windows 7....I own the HDX18T with the media buttons and wifi having that crazy On/off problem....I immediately installed windows 7 and the wifi and media key problem Totally went away for good... because.... Vista's volume and wifi program for use with the wifi and volume is garbage(No Good) and Windows 7 fixes the problem with New volume and wifi programs...This is a Working Solution Guaranteed!!! ..Use Windows 7...
